We have a web application that can be run successfully with Windows XP as server. However, transferring it to a Windows Server 2003 R2 will produce the following error:

Your statement that you're running this on a Windows Server 2003 R2 machine
seems at odds with the stack trace's identification of the machine on which
the application was running as a Windows XP machine.

Segmentation violations like this are often difficult or impossible to debug
via the newsgroup. I recommend that you contact Technical Support for
assistance.

The machine where the error occurred is Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2. I'm afraid I don't know how Matlab identified its OS during the error. Would you happen to know? Is this set on a configuration file or something?

Thank you very much.

By the way, we are using MCR v70 dlls plus our own Matlab-compiled dlls for this application.

My Matlab R14 application installed in the Windows Server 2003 crashes also during startup. It says
Error in ==> matlabrc at 26
         matlabpath(pathdef)

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

None of this information changes my recommendation. This is going to be very
difficult to debug over the newsgroup; please contact Technical Support and
work with them to determine what's causing the startup error and the
segmentation violation.
